Mina Rashid is a major commercial port transformation project located in Dubai Creek, between Bur Dubai and Deira. For four decades, the port area has been used for commercial purposes. Since the 2000s, it has also been used for cruise ships. Emaar in partnership with P&O Marinas is developing a multi-service project similar to that of the ports in Monte Carlo. The start-up of the first facilities is scheduled for the third quarter of 2022. The project will cover an area of ​​631,000m2 ( 6.8 million sq. ft.) and will embody a Riviera-inspired atmosphere with modern amenities and luxurious accommodation. The development project consists of residential complexes, entertainment venues, hotels, private beaches and waterfronts. The area will be able to accommodate more than 400 yachts. Residents will be able to enjoy nearby shops and parks, and there are plans to build a pedestrian bridge leading to Saeed Al Maktoum House. The residential area of ​​the district is divided into seven sub-districts, which will consist of medium-sized buildings. The apartments will have one- to three-bedroom layouts, ranging in size from 65m2 ( 700 sq. ft.) to 191m2 ( 2,060 sq. ft.). Penthouses will also be available, and all units will be equipped with a range of modern amenities.
